DACP case posted in Supreme Court

The Dept. of Atomic Energy did not implement the Dynamic Assured career progression for fhe Medical Doctors employed in  Atomic Energy Hospitals and a contempt of Court case was filed by the Doctors against the Govt.

The Govt. filed a Special Leave Petition (civil) in the Supreme Court of India and the case is posted for hearing on 5th Auguest, 2011

    kudos to dctors of kalpakkam in general..........for taking up such common cause with courage and determination.
    but at the same time its disheartening to see such poor participation and discussion on behalf of doctors from other DAE stations...i have never seen such demoralized and spineless doctors as those working in DAE ...

    what is the present position now. I heard that DAE is designing some sort of fast track promotion policy guidelines for DAE Doctors inlieu of DACP.

    DAE has filed SLP in Supreme Court, we have filed rejoinder and awaiting DAE to respose to our rejoinder in Supreme Court , the last date for them to file the counter is 11th, November 2011. Let us see there response . The case is posted for final argument on 11th Nov. 2011 in court no:4 of Supreme Court.

    The latest information we have got is:
    As per supreme court website: http://courtnic.nic.in/supremecourt/casestatus_new/querycheck_new.asp

    The supreme court has stayed the implementation of WP No.12209 of
    2010 of the HIGH COURT OF MADRAS
    and further it also condoned the delay of filling SLP in supreme court by DAE. ie Mocking of contemppt of high court.

    The case SLP (Civil) 23422/2011 is now listed for next hearing on 09.02.2012 at supreme Court

    Meannwhile DAE will make some foolish (merit based) formal guidelines on fast track promation for DAE doctors & get it approved by trombay council in decemeber 2011 & present it at Supreme court. NUTSHELL , DAE will not implment the
